About DedoCanada
Representing Dedolight in canada
DedoCanada, operating under the auspices of flight Productions, was founded in 2012 by Terrence Crack. At that time Mr. Crack became the official Canadian distributor for all Dedolight products.
The history of Dedolight in Canada dates back to the late 1980’s, when Cinequip Inc. (owned by Don & Edie Hall) became the first importer of the brand into the country. Terrence started working at Cinequip in 1990 which allowed him the opportunity to develop both a professional and personal relationship with Dedolight creator Mr. Dedo Weigert.
DedoCanada has a network of dealers that offer the latest Dedo LED, Classic & 400 series of fixtures.
Our website also features additional information – check out Product Catalogues, Rentals Kits plus some great videos.
Feel free to email or call with any questions or for technical support.
“Everyone should own at least one Dedolight!”
– Terry Crack
Mr. Crack began his career in live theatre as a Designer, Production and International Tour Manager. During those years, he also crossed over into Film and Television as a member of Nabet 700 and as the Post Production Audio Director for TVO’s award winning show “Today’s Special”.
He was then recruited by Don and Edie Hall to join their company Cinequip Inc. Hired originally as the Rental Manager he worked his way up through sales to the position of General Manager.
In 2002 when William F. White purchased Cinequip, Mr. Crack stayed with the new company CinequipWhite, as the National Audio Sales Manager.
Cinequip Inc had been the original Canadian Distributor for Dedo Weigert Film GmbH. As a result of their long standing business relationship, on April 15, 2011 under the banner of his company Flight Productions, Mr. Crack became the new Canadian Agent/Distributor for Dedolight.
Currently Flight Productions is in the process of setting up a new and very exciting dealership network across Canada in order to represent the product line effectively from coast to coast.
“I am very proud to work with someone as creative as Dedo and his Munich Team; to represent one of the finest lighting manufactures in the world.”
